The Cremation of Sam McGee by Robert Service

Robert Service was one of America's most popular poets in the early years of the 20th century.  He made a name for himself when gold was discovered in the Klondike region of the Yukon in 1897. One of his most famous ballads was "The Cremation of Sam McGee." Below is a reading of the ballad by Johnny Cash.
